How to Wear a Tank Top
What woman wouldn’t go for comfortable tank tops? At least, that’s my motto and so before we begin sussing out how to wear tank tops, let’s cover fabrics first!
My favorite tanks are always a blend of anything from rayon, viscose, cotton, and some kind of stretchy material like spandex or elastane. They ought to be soft and airy, as well as lightweight and packable for me.
A tank top pattern can range from smooth, to ribbed, or colorful, fun ones. I tend to go for classics though, like a black or white color. A good general guide is solid neutral colors are best for cities, while brights look amazing for the beach.
Though, the most beautiful thing about them is their versatility! For tank top outfits, these pieces look fab together:
Tank Top and Shorts
Tank tops and shorts are by far my favorite. I love the easygoing breezy feel of both. Go for elastic waist shorts or denim, all the way to skorts.
Tank Top and Jeans
Denim jeans can almost act like a neutral and be a wonderful canvas for something colorful, all the way to tank top white.
Tank tops styles are best paired with feminine dressed up bottoms if worn as a top vs. regular denim for a more stylish outfit. Also, try them with elastic waist pants, too!

Skirts and tank tops just universally go together. While I don’t wear a ton of skirts, when I do and want to be a bit more polished yet still not feel too hot, I combine the two in warm or humid destinations. For a skirt, I tend to like linen, rayon, or cotton blend for a lightweight touch.
