I’ve had several pair of Taos Trulie. I purchased my first pair for a trip to Italy. They didn’t disappoint. They were comfortable enough to wear all day, every day. The adjustable strap across the top of the foot comes in handy if you start to retain fluid.
I have a different Birkenstock slide (Franca) and it is amazing. Never thought I would become a fan of Birks. I have Aetrex Fiji flip flops and it’s very similar to Vionic Bella, especially the support. Propét is also very reliable.
I love my Teva sandals. I have wide Hobbit feet and they are so comfortable for my wide feet. I have hiked on red rock sand cliffs with them, regular trails, and through rivers. They stay secure to my feet, remain comfy, allow my feet to dry quickly and to stay cool, and have surprisingly good gription.
I don’t really have wide feet but have arthritis and tried the Skechers On-The-Go Women’s Wide Comfort Sandals. Loved them so much I bought them em in 4 different colors. Am traveling now, and my Hoka’s have been worn once and my Skechers almost every day. Thanks for the rec!

Dansko Women’s Rowan Sandals
I bought this sandal because I have wide feet, a bunion and want to walk on cobblestone. I walked 2.45 miles and these were wonderful. I didn’t have to break them in. I did wear a half sock to just to make sure my toes didn’t rub on top. Can wear with anything!

I bought the Earth Origins sandals based on your recommendation. Love them, comfortable and look gods with sundresses. Wore them in Italy in the evening to give my tired feet a break!
Sketchers on the Go we’re the perfect purchase for me! I broke my whole in January and had surgery so I now have metal in my ankle. It still swells, so these adjustable sandals do the trick!
So thankful to have found this article before our 15 day trip to Portugal this September! As a woman with wide feet and a high instep, it’s really hard to find a pair of sandals that fit and look good. Having access to these options made life so much easier! I was able to narrow it down to the Taos Truly and another pair I discovered while digging through Amazon, BareTraps Jalen which I ended up snagging and couldn’t be more happy with! I highly recommend adding these to the list!
I have to add Crocs Tulum sandals to this list. They have the very comfy Crocs sole, the straps stretch and they have backs! To me they are perfect for trips where you need a sandals that can take you from the water to the city.
I have walked many, many miles in my Naot Kayla sandals and they are so comfortable! My feet are on the wider side and the fit of the Kayla is great.
