I rarely shop for new clothes before a trip, but I am very excited about getting new swimwear for an upcoming adventure. Check out my great finds, including some cute one-piece swimsuits and fun, flattering, sexy bathing suits!
For my trip to Bonaire, I planned to pack: two shorts, a couple tops, one Leith dress, a romper cover-up, one to two rash guards, and three bathing suits. (I usually only pack one to two, but I’m so excited!)
I decided to upgrade from two-piece bikinis to more flattering — but hopefully attractive — one-piece swimsuits. To balance the new coverage in my torso, I looked for bathing suits that exposed more on top instead of the middle.
While I wanted to transition into a one-piece vs. two-piece swimsuit, the style had to make sense for my personal preferences, and this meant that I didn’t want to look overly conservative. After all, I still want to make a good impression on my hubby.
While I normally opt for underwire bikinis, most of these suits do not have underwire. It was hard to find a cute underwire swimsuit one piece, but I’m happy with these finds, plus some of them were under $30!
From rash guards to bathing suits and my favorite bikini, these were my choices.

Miraclesuit One Piece Bathing Suit
This is going to be my new dive bathing suit, and it‘s actually the priciest one on my list. I originally found it on Nordstrom, and then discovered this particular color and size was half price on Amazon. That made the purchase a much easier decision.
I’d heard a lot about these bathing suits and how flattering they were. However, I wanted to choose one that was also fun and sexy.
I also liked that it could be possible for this to double as a top worn over my denim shorts or sarong. Scuba diving destinations tend to have a very chilled-out crowd, so cute but casual beach attire is a must.
I wish it had a little bit more support, but I’m very happy with it — super flattering and pretty design, too!
Solid Color Rash Guard
I loved the blue color in both the swimsuit and rash guard — perfect for someone like me who loves the ocean and scuba dives. I plan to pair them together when I scuba dive or snorkel.
Zipped Floral Rash Guard
I also bought a second rash guard swimsuit for snorkeling or as an underlayer for colder dives. I liked that this style was one piece so I wouldn’t have to worry about my regular rash guard riding up on my tummy.
The design is very feminine, and I like the zipped front so I could style it to create a v-shape neckline when I wasn’t in the water. I plan to wear the below two-piece bikini underneath.

This is my regular cup bikini that I love! This one is always my go-to, plus it doubles as a bra and allows me to wear cute beach tops that I might not otherwise be able to wear with my regular bra. So, this is a perfect option for a relaxing beach trip.
The back is completely adjustable, so you can wear it as a cross-back or bra style. This bikini top is fantastic for DD+ women because they don’t have to worry about buying for a specific bandwidth. If you’re looking for swimsuits for big busts, this bikini works for a variety of body shapes and sizes!
As a plus, this style comes in dozens of colors and prints.
I wear it with this side tie bikini bottom, but you can match it with whatever bottom type you prefer.

When on a beach trip, it’s always good to have at least two bathing suits so you always have a dry option when the other is wet. This is my “I want to look awesome hanging out on the beach” bathing suit. I would not be diving with this style. Hubby approved.

I love the idea of this off-the-shoulder bathing suit, but the cut of the bottom is a bit too covered up. In order to better match my style, I’m either going to get it in red — to make it look more fun — or try to find the same style with a more flattering bottom.
Sometimes you need to look around for exactly what you want. Fortunately, we have many options when it comes to shopping online!

Vintage Lace Swimwear
I decided not to bring it on my trip to Bonaire but to keep it for when I travel to Playa del Carmen!
