Thank you for the recommendation of the Eddie Bauer Girl on the Go trench! It will be a mainstay of my wardrobe, not just for travel but for around town. The weight is perfect and the fit is slimming yet comfortable. I am short (5’2″) and the sleeves were bit long, but rolling them slightly works just fine.
My trench coat is a DKNY that I’ve traveled with for years. I take it plus a Patagonia nano puff jacket and I can handle all kinds of weather.
Can you recommend a patent leather raincoat that is reasonably priced? I don’t trust Amazon without a recommendation.

I have a Hellie Hansen trench/rain jacket that I absolutely love! If it’s really cold, I’ll put a light weight puffy jacket underneath and I’m perfectly warm.

While visiting Copenhagen at the beginning of the summer, I noticed trench coats were worn often to fend off the cooler temps in the mornings and evenings.
