Depending on the weather and length of your trip, you may only need to use 1 or 2 packing cubes.
- For a one-week summer vacation, I only used one packing cube for all my belongings and went luggage free!
- For a four-week trip to Colombia and Portugal including a 2-week transatlantic cruise, I used just two packing cubes.
- Adjust the amount of packing cubes you use on your trip as needed. Not all trips have the same requirements.
HOW TO USE THE PACKING CUBES
- The TFG Carryon Packing System is sized to fit most international carryon size luggage.
- Position the cubes vertically like drawers or stack them flat on top of each other.
- Alternatively, if you’re traveling with a backpack, you can slide them in vertically.
FAQ
What is a pre-order?
Currently, I’ve only developed the prototype. It’s taken me THREE years to achieve the exact design I wanted! From November 15 - 29, 2017 you have the ability to pre-order the product before it’s manufactured.
If we continue to sell more packing cubes in 2018 (and officially launch Travel Fashion Girl’s new line, Compass Rose Travel Accessories), products will be available for purchase in June 2018. By pre-ordering in advance, you ensure you have your own TFG packing cube set in time for Spring and Summer travels 2018.
What’s a prototype?
A prototype is the preliminary version of the final packing cube from which other designs will be developed. Currently, the packing cubes I showed you are 99% final.
Is my order guaranteed?
Unlike Kickstarter I will not have any order minimums for this time period. Whether I sell 5 or 5000, I will be placing an order for the exact quantity sold.
If we are unable to meet manufacturer order requirements, we will only manufacture the packing cubes ordered during the pre-order period, but we would not be moving forward with the production of additional products next year.
If we are able to sell over 500 packing cubes (the manufacturer minimum), we will start selling these products permanently on Travel Fashion Girl in 2018.
If you buy during the pre-order period, you can guarantee you’ll be able to own a set of these packing cubes (and at the discounted rate)!
What if you don’t send my product?
If for whatever reason you don’t get your packing cubes, I will refund your money immediately.
What if I’m not happy with my product?
My goal is to create things for you that you’ll love. If you receive a product with any defects whatsoever, you can send it back, no questions asked. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in our materials and errors with the workmanship.
Will you offer more colors?
The initial packing cube set features the Travel Fashion Girl signature colors: red and grey. This set will act as the core of our collection just as every capsule wardrobe has its essentials items.
What is the size of the packing cube set?
The dimensions are 13 x 5 x 2.8 inches and there are four packing cubes in each set.
Will you offer more sizes?
My hope is to launch more sizes, colors, and products, too. I have so many ideas I’d love to share with you! If we can gain enough momentum with this special pre-order time period, I can go full force into production of new products in 2018.
How much are the packing cubes?
Currently, I'm offering the discounted rate of $34.99 (includes $5 shipping) during the pre-order time period: November 15-29, 2017. When the products officially launch next year, the retail price will start at $39.99. Once the pre-order window closes, we will no longer be selling the packing cubes until summer 2018.
How much is Shipping?
We offer $5 flat rate shipping anywhere in the world. This means where ever you are in the world, including the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else it will only cost $5.00 (per packing cube set).
What about Import Duty Taxes?
The buyer (You) is responsible for any import duty taxes that may be incured by your local government.
Why did you name the collection Compass Rose, not Travel Fashion Girl?
Five years before starting Travel Fashion Girl, my goal was to create a clothing line called Compass Rose featuring practical but fashionable items. Hopefully the travel products are just the beginning and I'd love to grow the collection to have clothes in the future!
